Are donations tax-deductible?
Section titled “Are donations tax-deductible?”Receipts are issued by payment processors. As a South African entity, donations are generally not tax-deductible internationally, and in South Africa we are not a Section 18A organization.
Do you accept Zakat?

Do you use monetisation or advertising?
Section titled “Do you use monetisation or advertising?”Muslim Central does not earn income from external podcast platforms.
Some third-party services may:
- Insert advertisements
- Charge users for access or features
Muslim Central itself remains free and ad-free.
Supporting the project means using the official platforms.
How are you funded?
Section titled “How are you funded?”We are sustained through:
- 90%–100% micro-donations, mainly in South African Rand
- Ad revenue (primarily YouTube)
- Occasional support from larger donors
Can you help with personal or family questions?
Section titled “Can you help with personal or family questions?”Not directly. Muslim Central is a content platform, not a personal counseling or fatwa service.
If you need guidance on family, parenting, marriage, or other personal matters, please speak to a trusted local imam, scholar, counselor, or community elder who can understand your situation properly and advise you responsibly.
